Samsung has terminated its partnership with Qualcomm after falling into overheating Snapdragon 810, replacing it with the Galaxy S6 with its own Exynos 7420 processor. The Korean corporation will probably have to apologize to his former partner, because it turns out that Snapdragon 820 is half faster than his own layout.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is not a sales hit, as the manufacturer expected it, so in the next model the concern has to make more and make the smartphone even more attractive in the eyes of customers.
It is possible that the manufacturer will decide to return to Qualcomm processors, with which he broke up with problems with Snapdragon 810 due to overheating of the chip. So far, Samsung uses its own Exynos 7420 processor, but the latest data provided by Chinese analyst Mr. Juitanga shows that the Snapdragon 820 is half the faster. The new chip is manufactured with 14nm FinFET technology and features an LTE Cat 10 modem that allows data rates up to 450 Mbit / s.
