One of the most interesting features of the new BMW 7 Series G11 is the automatic parking and garage access mode, which allows the driver to remotely enter a vehicle into it and then move it out. Due to the regulations, this feature is not available on the US market but a BMW representative promises to be made available as soon as possible.

Automated parking in the new BMW 7 Series is practically available in all markets except the US. The Bavarian concern decided to remove this feature from cars sold in the United States because of legal regulations. Automation violates federal regulations that prohibit vehicles from moving independently if the cockpit does not have a man in the cockpit.

However, the Department of Transport has stated that BMW will soon receive the appropriate permits to make this option available to American customers as well.
